Journey Toward Confirmation
At St Peter Parish, our Confirmation program is designed to strengthen each candidate’s unique gifts as they grow closer to Jesus, stronger in their knowledge of our Catholic faith, and put purpose to their innate discipleship through intellectual, emotional and spiritual connectivity using the power of the Holy Spirit as our guide.
"…that their hearts may be encouraged as they are brought together in love, to have all the richness of fully assured understanding, for the knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” - Col 2, 2-3
2024-2025 CONFIRMATION ASSESSMENT:
October 9th, 2024 at 6:30pm in classroom 4
All Year 2 Students should plan to attend.
This is NOTHING to stress over. We need to see where students are to create appropriate small groups and plan for the year ahead. ALL Year 1 & 2 students should plan to be tested. Note: It is required for placement in Year 2.
Confirmation preparation classes will meet every other Wednesday (6:30-7:45pm) beginning on October 23.
Year 2 students are asked to join and attend their MS or HS youth group on off weeks
+ document weekly Mass attendance.

Friday, November 1All Confirmations must choose a patron saint - in order to prepare, each student is asked to research a saint they are interested in using and prepare a poster on that saint. The posterboards should be turned in via HS youth group (MS on 10/30 or HS on 10/27), but MUST be at the parish by 8am on November 1st (HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION) for display. Bonus points for those that come to Mass dressed up as their saint! The posters will be presented in class and returned to the student in class on November 6Read More
