FAITH FORMATION for Catholic Adults
(Continuing Adult Education)
Teaching the Catholic Faith must begin in the home.
When Catholic parents fail to pass on the Faith to their children, it can be lost in one generation. This is already visible in our surrounding culture.
But how many people who truly understood their Catholic Faith would ever choose to leave it?
The primary objective of the Adult Faith Formation program at St. Peter is ongoing catechesis and conversion — to expand, deepen and share personal knowledge and love of Jesus Christ and the Church he founded.
We do this by offering life-changing educational programs by world-class Catholic catechists and evangelists.
Each session is intended to encourage a personal Faith journey from belief about Jesus to belief in Jesus — the realization that trust in Jesus is the vessel by which we receive His Grace.
Based on one’s spiritual motivation and courage, an active life of Christian virtue and participation in the greater Christian Community can evolve and flourish.
If you’d like to talk to someone at St. Peter in person about questions you have, or just want to talk, we’d be very happy to meet with you. Please contact (503) 538-4312 to arrange a time to meet.
